Our Franchise Story
Meet Rachel Ray who was inspired to set up Bright & Beautiful when she spotted a real gap in the market for an ethical, professional and eco-friendly homecare business, designed for busy people.
Rachel’s business model is based around a franchise system that trains franchisees across the UK to manage a team of professional housekeepers, delivering a high quality service for clients. Rachel explains:
“The domestic cleaning industry is a bit of a grey area in the UK, in that it is largely unregulated; workers don’t receive holiday or maternity pay and there is very little quality control. What I found is that there are a growing number of busy people who want a professional team taking care of their home. Our name – Bright & Beautiful – really says it all.”
Having grown the business successfully across Manchester and Cheshire, Rachel approached the British Franchise Association in October 2009 to ensure that the Bright & Beautiful Franchise system followed best franchising practice and ethics. In June 2010 our first Franchise Territory was launched in Altrincham & Hale which is owned and operated by Faye McDonough. Each Franchise owner is carefully selected and trained to ensure that the same meticulous standards and strict security procedures are followed in every territory.
A key part of the Bright & Beautiful vision is empowering people:
- Busy working people who need our services to manage their home
- Franchise owners who need a great business opportunity
- Team members who want to work in a positive, fun environment,
- Oppressed families across the world who are supported through our charitable giving.
