Bright & Beautiful comes in as the highest ranking domestic housekeeping franchise at number 38. This is a fantastic recognition of our business that has grown to more than 55 franchises nationwide, employing over 500 people, with a multi-million-pound turnover and delivering more than 10,000 home service cleans per month.
Rachel Ray was named Outstanding Entrepreneur at the inaugural Northern Power Women Awards. The awards, hosted by BBC Newsround presenter Leah Boleto, aim to recognise, showcase and celebrate exceptional role models who are supporting gender equality across the Northern Powerhouse region. The awards took place at the Manchester Hilton Hotel on 3rd March 2016 where 51 people were shortlisted in nine categories that had been selected from 700 nominations.
Faye McDonough was a finalist in the Female Franchisee category of the prestigious 2015 bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards. Faye received her award at a dinner hosted by the BBC’s business correspondent Steph McGovern in recognition of her success in running her business and helping other women, both locally and in developing countries.
Bright & Beautiful was recognized as a finalist in the British Franchise Association Franchisor of the Year Awards 2014. Director of the BFA, Brian Smart presenting the award to Rachel said “Her model adheres to BFA best practice and ethics and her head office team is permanently on hand to provide business management support, expertise and training.”
Bright & Beautiful were awarded “Best Home Based Business of the Year” 2013 by Barclays Women in Business Awards. This was in recognition of the flexible entrepreneurship opportunities provided by the franchise system. This is empowering women across the UK to run their own successful home-based businesses.
In 2011 Rachel was the winner of the Manchester Women & Business award presented by Manchester City Council. This recognized the fact that Bright & Beautiful is improving the lives of women across the UK and beyond. As a result of this in 2012 Rachel was honoured to be invited to a lunch with the Queen as part of the Jubilee Celebrations.
At a Gala Dinner at Manchester United’s Old Trafford 2010, the first award of the evening went to local mum Faye McDonough, Franchise Owner of Bright & Beautiful Hale & Altrincham. Faye was commended by the judges in the Start-up business category having launched the very first Bright & Beautiful franchise with great success only 3 months earlier.
