Helen Ross, business owner of Bright & Beautiful North Tyneside has been shortlisted for the New Business category in the prestigious annual North Tyneside Business Awards 2018.
Run by the North Tyneside Business Forum, these widely-respected annual awards are about celebrating North Tyneside as a place to do business and the huge contribution that businesses make to the local economy and how they make North Tyneside a great place to live, work and visit.
Recognised for being an ethical employer and treating her staff with upmost respect, Helen joins two others on the shortlist for the New Business Award. The award is for the best new business created in North Tyneside, which has been trading for less than 24 months, and can demonstrate potential for growth and its greatest challenges and successes.
On being shortlisted for these awards, Helen said, “It is fantastic to be a finalist for this highly regarded award and to be considered amongst many of the borough’s best companies. The ethical nature of my business is so important to me, particularly as the cleaning industry has a reputation for treating staff in such a disrespectful way, so I am so pleased that this has been recognised in my application. As a new business, I am honoured to have been selected and it provides me with even more motivation to grow the business further. I am really looking forward to the awards final on the 15th November and it will be a great celebration for everyone.”
The North Tyneside Business Awards category winners will be named at an exclusive black-tie ceremony on 15th November 2018 at the Spanish City Plaza in Whitley Bay.
