Celebrating 10 Years In Franchising
Bright & Beautiful has plenty to celebrate this year as we toast our milestone 10 years in franchising, in addition to growing the national network to over 65 business owners, creating a workforce of over 850+ local people and hitting a record turnover in excess of £8 million in 2019.

Bright & Beautiful was established in 2007, with our first ever pilot franchise set up in Altrincham in 2010 – there are now five franchises in Greater Manchester. With the vision to initially empower women to harness their own businesses, the UK wide business has since gone from strength to strength and has an increasing number of both male and female franchise owners who are each building their own local enterprises.
In ten years, our fully managed service-based franchise has delivered more than 150,000 home service cleans and one off cleans every year to over 4,000 clients. Further growth is planned for 2020, including generating new professional housekeeping roles to bring our workforce to over 1,000 and achieving an annual turnover in excess of £10 million.
Bright & Beautiful’s heritage has shaped the core values of our business and these are based on four brand pillars – holistic housekeeping, strict security, trusted team and pure products, which have created a successful company culture that is embodied across the whole network.
Ethical employment is also a vital part of the business with all staff offered training, holiday pay and full employment rights. Equally important is being sustainable and doing good for the planet by reducing its plastic usage by around 1.5 tonnes per year with the use of its eco-friendly cleaning products.
Sue Moore, Managing Director of Bright & Beautiful, said: “We’re proud of achieving so many ambitious goals over the past 10 years and will be marking our anniversary with a series of celebrations, starting with a party for all our franchisees on 21 January in Cheshire. Our franchisees, of which we have 13 in the North West, will also be commemorating their own milestones throughout 2020, along with raising funds for some fantastic local and national charitable causes, such as Dementia UK.

Not only have they provided hundreds of jobs across the UK, but they have been able to offer progressive career opportunities for their professional housekeepers including promotions to customer service and senior operational roles. These are jobs that are not only helping people into work and serving our local communities, but they are also contributing significantly to our regional and national economy. This next decade is going to be even brighter for Bright & Beautiful where we’ll achieve even greater milestones. In the meantime we’re focussed on helping our busy clients to carve out some valuable free time whilst letting us take care of housekeeping chores”
